To recap for those of you that don't know……
AFTN's other team of choice are the mighty Vancouver Whitecaps of the North American USL Division One.

EUGENE CLARKE was the inaugural winner in 2004 and received a Vancouver Whitecaps baseball cap as his prize.
Fife historian extraordinaire, JIM CORSTORPHINE, took the title in 2005, beating off 27 challengers from both sides of the Atlantic.
Jim's prize for his triumph was a Whitecaps training top.
Due to the World Cup and AFTNs Prediction League for that, the Whitecaps Prediction League was rested for the 2006 season but when it returned in 2007 it was won by MICHAEL McCOLL in a close run thing with Jim Corstorphine again.

Don't forget to read AFTN's own Whitecaps articles. Our Whitecaps History one and our Matchday Experience one, along with the article from the Province newspaper.
It's an exciting time for the Whitecaps at the moment as they are pushing secure one of the last two Major League Soccer franchises for 2011 or 2012.
The Prediction League has been rested again for 2008 to concentrate on the Euros. We may return in 2009 or that might be the end of the League, but whatever happens, Go Whitecaps!
