Well it finally arrived - the official launch night for the East Fife Supporters' Trust. And what a successful night it proved to be.

The Wellesley Inn was packed and despite the afternoon's results not going as the Fife fans had hoped, the mood was not doom and gloom. Part of the reason for that has to go down to the fact that the Trust is one of the very bright sparks from a bad season.

The official proceedings got under way shortly after 8pm and MC and Working Group Chairman, Eugene Clarke, welcomed all in attendance and proudly announced that the Trust was now sitting at 114 members, including 4 Corporate Members. This membership level being reached in only a matter of months, whereas other local Trusts have taken years to reach this level of membership.

Guests in attendance included local councillor, and lifelong East Fife fan, Harry Blyth, and two local MSP's - Tricia Marwick and Christine May - all of whom made short speeches to congratulate the Trust on it's success so far.

The evening also saw the issuing of special certificates to founder members and the selection of the Trust's new logo (see below), along with raffles for season tickets and some exclusive limited number Trust t-shirts.

The fans have really gotten behind the Trust to date. This, though, is where all the hard work starts, so long may this support continue.
